Review: Through the Water by Shannon Myers
Shannon Myers blew me out of the water with her book, Through the Waters. Myers is known for her her MC books, so that’s where I know her from. Through the Waters is a book that takes on several new elements for me. Her main characters, Ariana and Killian, have such depth. I love watching how these two relate from the beginning. The storyline is unique. I love how Myers was able to interweave the past and present of her main characters. Drawing it all to one huge conclusion. There really are so many aspects to this story that I didn’t expect but that truly pulled at the heart strings. …

Review: Wicked Games by A.M. Myers
I have read Myers since her first book. I have watched her talent grow. Myers has the ability of pulling you into her books, making you a part of the world. It’s actually sad that this is the last of the series. Each of her books draws you deeper into the Bayou Devils world. After Rowan’s life has imploded she up and moves to be closer to her brother, Lincoln. Lincoln’s life is in a chaotic state as well. The Bayou Devils MC is under fire and while he worries he wants his baby sister close by. When Rowan shows up, no one expects her to fall for Streak. He…

Review: Bait Me by Bella Jeanisse
Holy Cow! First off let me say that that Girl Power Series is an AMAZING idea, the authors are all talented and intelligent women. I was very honored when I was asked to read and review Bait Me by Bella Jeanisse. I have never heard of a female crabber, so that aspect of the story totally grabbed me. Jeanisse writes a stunning story of two people who both been hurt, neither looking for love that find their solace in each other. Not realizing that their paths have already crossed when they were mere kids or how fate keeps making their paths merge. The steamy scenes and intimate workings of Salvatore…

Review: After The Fire by Will Hill
I had never heard for Will Hill before I chose to read After the Fire and now I would probably read his grocery list. It had been a while since i had read anything other than a romance novel when I stumbled upon After the Fire. First the cover grabbed my attention, and then the blurb snagged me up for good. I remember the Waco incident. And while I was still a teenager the whole aspect of how it came to be intrigued me. I’ve always wondered what the people involved felt and how they thought. Hill helped me satisfy some of that curiosity with his book. After the Fire…

Review: Enticing Liam by Kristen Proby
Enticing Liam was a sugary sweet love story. An easy read for a day that you just want to zone out and relax. Ellie and Liam are a well rounded couple and I loved watching the growth they had in the story. If I am to be completely honest with you though having read quite a few of Kristen Proby’s earlier works I was expecting more. Proby could have taken the storyline and really made it amazing but instead while it is well written it isn’t as action packed as her previous work. Don’t let that part deter you from reading Enticing Liam, as it is after all just my…

Review: Malcom by Samantha McCoy
I have not read many shifter books in my life. To be honest this is like the third. Hell, I didn’t even know this was a shifter when I decided to read it. From the prologue though it was made very clear. It was there that I was taken captive into this world. Samantha McCoy’s contribution to the world Grace Brennan created grabs you and holds you hostage, willingly. McCoy makes no apologies for the whirlwind of emotions she brings forth from start to finish. Witches, dragons, lions, and so much more is exposed to us. Tabitha is on the run, heading to the only place she hopes to find…

Review: The Circle by Cindy Cipriano
The Circle was written with middle school aged children in mind. Filled with folklore, fairies, and adventure it will be able to capture and keep an adult’s attention. I can say that from first hand experience. I tend to read books without knowing what I am getting into. I hardly read a synopsis or other reviews before starting a book that I want to or have been requested to review. I don’t like to let other peoples opinions influence me. I can’t say that knowing that it was geared to a much younger person than myself would have stopped me from reading it, after all I am a huge Potter…

Review: The Marquess Who Adored Me by Rachelle Stevenson
The Marquess Who Adored Me is the second book in The Men Who Revere Us series. I stumbled on to this author. So when it was suggested that I read her book I agreed. I haven’t read historical romance since I was in my early teen years, but figured why not. Rachelle Stevensen is new to the indie scene, with this being only her second book. Stevensen’s cover reminded me of the “Fabio” days. The pirate ships, handsome swashbuckler, and the damsel in distress all so gorgeously displayed. So I dove in expecting to go back to a freer time in my life. I wasn’t disappointed. Stevensen brought a great…

Review: Rumors by Phil M. Williams
Rumors is a compelling realistic story about the damage that rumors can and does have on the lives of everyday ordinary people. Having grown up in a small town just like that portrayed I have seen this very thing happen. Phil M Williams gave you the mindset and point of view of the gossipers and the victims. He brought in the harms of the technology the mass majority uses, Facebook. How it can help tear apart and destroy, how it can help spread the truth. Williams shows both the good and evil in people. His characters are believable. You root for some, hate others and cry for a few. You…

Review: Colt by Rachel Lyn Adams
I am a girl who enjoys her MC romances. I have my favorite authors and tend to stick to them so when I was offered the chance to read Colt, I decided to try Rachel Lyn Adam’s writing out. Best decision ever!! Adams kept me swerving! Changing lanes without any blinkers! I have to admit normally I can guess where a plot is taking me but this girl changed lanes up on me so fast and flawlessly. I was patched in to Desert Sinners before I even knew it. Her characters, lead and side, kept me enthralled with their actions and personalities. Seriously, Adams had me grasping my kindle trying…
