Review & Release: Skirt by K.L. Savage

Skirt (Ruthless Kings MC, #5) by K.L. Savage
Genres: MC Romance
Goodreads

I have to be honest I binge read this series over the course

of two days. It started with me choosing the prequel, then

I had to read about a certain character. I could not stop

reading. K.L. Savage has created a huge world for people

to get lost in. I fell down this rabbit hole but don’t try to

save me. Instead join me in a dark and gritty world,

where the men are fierce and the women are just as strong.

I’ll be honest there was more to Skirt than I expected. His

backstory blew me out of the water. The emotion and depth

that Savage brought to her lead male character will make

you want to reach out to him. Watching his journey to find

his love and seeing his growth drags you in. It makes you

want to hunt down your own Skirt. Well at least it did me.

When an author can bring such strong emotions, such as

empathy, understanding, lust and even love out of reader,

you know that they will continue to do that in upcoming

works. Skirt can be read as a standalone, in my opinion.
BUT, seriously the minute you finish you’ll go back to the

beginning because you’ll be completely hooked. The

Ruthless Kings will rule your world and K.L. Savage

will have you on your knees bowing to her

phenomenal talent and begging for the next book.

There are a few things people know about me.
I’m Scottish with an accent to prove it.
I really hate pants.
I’m a Ruthless King. One thing people don’t know?
I don’t fight because I have to.
I breathe it.
I live it.
I love it. Flesh.
Blood.
Brass Knuckles. I lived my life fighting for nothing.
Until I saw something worth fighting for.
Her. Dawn belongs to one of my rivals.
An Irish bloke with more power than common sense.
The kind of man stupid enough to use it.
And stupid enough to put bruises on her pretty face. This fight won’t be
my last.
But it may be his.
If he tries anything stupid with me?
He’s gonna find out that my MC always has my back.
Even if it starts a war…

Author Bio
K.L. Savage decided they were tired of looking for the kind
of books they wanted to read. They had an itch that needed to be scratched, and
as every girl knows, nothing scratches better than an alpha.
They write about gritty, alpha males, sometimes their dark sides, and the women
they love.
If you have the same itch, their alpha males should fix that.

Review: Through the Water by Shannon Myers

Shannon Myers blew me out of the water with her book, Through the Waters. Myers is known for her her MC books, so that’s where I know her from. Through the Waters is a book that takes on several new elements for me. Her main characters, Ariana and Killian, have such depth. I love watching how these two relate from the beginning. The storyline is unique.  I love how Myers was able to interweave the past and present of her […]

Review: Wicked Games by A.M. Myers

I have read Myers since her first book. I have watched her talent grow. Myers has the ability of pulling you into her books, making you a part of the world. It’s actually sad that this is the last of the series. Each of her books draws you deeper into the Bayou Devils world. After Rowan’s life has imploded she up and moves to be closer to her brother, Lincoln. Lincoln’s life is in a chaotic state as well. The […]

Review: Malcom by Samantha ..

Review: Malcom by Samantha McCoy

I have not read many shifter books in my life. To be honest this is like the third. Hell, I didn’t even know this was a shifter when I decided to read it. From the prologue though it was made very clear. It was there that I was taken captive into this world. Samantha McCoy’s contribution to the world Grace Brennan created grabs you and holds you hostage, willingly.  McCoy makes no apologies for the whirlwind of emotions she brings […]
