    Asher by Livell James

I’m not new to the Rogue Enforcer world but with each new author that writes in the series my favorite author list grows. Livell James is no exception to that. James has grown the RE world to include Asher, a man who doesn’t think love exists for him. A man who never seems to be on top even though he has untapped abilities. He’s stuck in a pack whose Alpha is corrupt. The plot line keeps you turning the pages. Finding out if Asher can escape or even find lasting love in all the chaos is what had me up all night to finish. This is a must read for me…

    ⭐️Spotlight Author: Bethany Maine⭐️

Bethany Maines is an award-winning writer and native of Tacoma WA, who writes romantic tales of action-adventure that focus on women who know when to apply lipstick and when to apply a foot to someone’s hind end. Bethany is actually very much like her fictional heroines: she travels to exotic lands and has the ability to kick some serious butt with her fifth-degree black belt in karate. And while her travels may not necessarily include fighting mercenaries or super agents of evil so much as eating spicy foods and hiking to the tops of mountains (okay, really big hills), her black belt skills are mainly employed in teaching karate to…

    Paper Hearts by Jen Atkinson

Paper Hearts by Jen Atkinson is exactly the clean young adult paranormal romance that we have come to expect. Beautifully written and this time the paranormal part is very light. It’s more of a side note in my mind. Atkinson is always able to interweave such emotion, realism and meaning in her books. Paper Hearts brings this back to the forefront. Jen Atkinson is an author who drags you into a beautifully built world that while seeming completely idyllic has it’s major hiccups. The storyline keeps you grounded in the book.  You can close your eyes and feel the surroundings. Her characters grow and develop so seamlessly.   I have yet…

    ?❤️?Spotlight Author Interview: Tich Brewster?❤️?

I had the immense pleasure to meet Tich Brewster at a signing I went to last year and have been lucky enough to get to know her over the past year. Tich is such a sweet genuine person. I absolutely love her personality and the light that shines from her. So I was super excited that it was her time to be My Blissful Books’ Spotlight Author. My favorite part of doing this is getting to know more about the author through their answers. Do you have only one muse? Or do you have a different one with each book? Well, before I start writing a new story, I get…

Review: May Day by RR Born

Omg!! Y’all!!! I was able to carve some reading time out and finish May Day by RR Born!!! I need to buy book 2 now!! May Day was sooooo good! Twists, turns and WTFs every where! Loved this grey witch book. It’s definitely a series I want to continue reading. There is a splash of romance but it’s so much more than that. I happened upon RR Born at a signing, DDnD19. I was looking for something that I hadn’t read in a while and Born suggested her first book, May Day. It was exactly what I needed. Ari Mason is a strong, but self conscious witch. Having been born…

Review: The Connelly Boys by Lily Velez

If you a looking for a great paranormal young adult read Lily Velez’ The Connelly Boys has you covered. It’s been a while since I’ve read a paranormal book that wasn’t more strongly romance. The Connelly Boys, while it does have a romance in it, filled the ticket for me. The romance was more a secondary line in this book. The story of Scarlet Monroe is a complex situation and one that tugs at the heart strings. Scarlet has just lost her mother and has to leave her whole life in the states behind. Moving to Ireland to live with a father who she doesn’t really know. Scarlet starts to…

★•**•.★ Review: Treasure Darkly by Jordan Elizabeth★•**•.★

This is the second book of Jordan Elizabeth’s that I have had the pleasure to read and review. The one thing I absolutely adore about this author is how diverse she is. Treasure Darkly is a steam punk themed book. This is soooo not my thing. OR so I thought. Once again Elizabeth has opened my eyes to a totally new genre, one that I probably would never have thought to try. Jordan Elizabeth’s writing is so freaking amazing. I seriously cannot stress that enough. When you open up one of her books you are literally thrust into a whole new world (cue Aladdin music). She makes you open your…
