Saturday Snippet featuring Katrina Marie
The hallway to the office is a short distance away, and I make my way toward it. The loudness of the bar fades away the closer I get to the office. Now where is that box? Scanning the shelf, I don’t see it anywhere. I squeeze behind the door, bumping it slightly as I reach up to look at the boxes higher on the shelf. There. Of course, it’s on the top one. I really need to get some kind of a ladder in here. Especially since there are more people working here that may need to get something. My hand goes up to grab the box, and I feel…

⛈⚡️⛈ Storm Damage by CP Smith ⛈⚡️⛈
Storm Damage came to me at the perfect time, I had just DNFed a book for the first time in years and was needing something to get back into the reading groove. I freely admit I totally decided to read this book based on the cover. I never read the synopsis so I had no idea what I was getting into. CP Smith had my total attention after just the first chapter. Honestly, I don’t even think it took that long. Logan Storm and Skylar James are two people who were made for each other. Smith developed their relationship so beautifully, even though it was almost instalove. There was still…

Review: Etched in Stone by Liv Arnold
Etched in Stone is Liv Arnold’s debut book which shocked me. She has found her niche so early in her career. I found Etched in Stone to be a book that while listed as suspenseful romance was so much more. Her characters are relatable, fun, and believable. You want to be in this world that Arnold has created. Vanessa has just graduated college and accepted a job offer at her dream place. It looks like the fates are in her favor until reality happens. Her mom has a run in with the police which puts everything Vanessa has busted her but for in jeopardy. Given a way to save her…

Review: Trouble by Adriana Locke
Avery comes from a family where everything is about never having privacy, everyone wanting to know you and use you to get what they want. This was a part of her life she hated and wanted away from, so she returns to the one place she had where no one knew who she was, Dogwood Lake. Penn was born, raised and still living in Dogwood Lake. Having always wanted to escape from his own life, he often reflects on the one time someone truly looked at him, listened to him and made him matter. It was only one night, but the memory has lived on in him. That night he met…

Review: Alee by Nicole Loufas
Okay, I have to be honest this is probably going to be the hardest review for me to write. My feelings are all over the place with Alee. I t was a book that truly grabbed me. It made me feel so many things. I went in blind. I had no clue what topics this book covered, and lets say it covers so many. I always try to not reveal any spoilers in my reviews and generally I can do that. I am going to try really hard to keep to that. I will forewarn that there are many situations that could be triggers for people. So far I only…

Review: Do You Do Extras? by Nikki Ashton
Nikki Ashton has written a fantastic rom-com in Do you Do Extras? I was able to sit back and enjoy a romance with a lot of laughter. Phoebe is an extra on a movie when she accidently bumps into the star Grantley. Their chemistry drives this book. Watching their animosity turn into a flames is delightful. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is needing a lift to their day. I don’t tend to read a whole lot of rom-coms. After reading DYDE I am starting to think I need to make this a weekly must do. I think my favorite part of DYDE is the twins, Callum and…
