Logan Storm, an ex-Delta Force sniper, with scars on the inside, is drifting through life on his way to nowhere. While trying to make peace with his past, Logan encounters a young bar owner and her brothers, with trouble brewing the size of Montana.
Skylar James is worn out. She's trying to raise her two teenage brothers and hold on to the only home they’ve ever known: 500 acres won by her father in a poker game before they were born.
Luckily for Skylar, Logan finds the peace he’s been looking for in the all-American beauty and decides to stick around Ennis, Montana just as adversaries renew old feuds and bodies begin to pile up in the aftermath.

Storm Damage came to me at the perfect time, I had just DNFed a book for the first time in years and was needing something to get back into the reading groove. I freely admit I totally decided to read this book based on the cover. I never read the synopsis so I had no idea what I was getting into. CP Smith had my total attention after just the first chapter. Honestly, I don’t even think it took that long.

Logan Storm and Skylar James are two people who were made for each other. Smith developed their relationship so beautifully, even though it was almost instalove. There was still such growth with each character. Her world building skills were amazing. You felt like you were right there with Logan and Skylar. The little town of Ennis reminds me of a town I lived in, very close knit and where everyone knew everyone.

Storm Damage is a book that tugs at your heart strings and uses them to wrap you tight and keep you close. Definitely a book that I will reread in the future. Feel the damage that this storm will cause your emotions.
