What starts out as a sweet childhood love story takes a traumatic turn when 17 year old Natasha Kurtzman witnesses men entering her boyfriend, Logan Drake’s apartment and gunshots ring out. Her whole world is turned up side down.

Due to the tragic loss of her boyfriend, Natasha pursues a career in law enforcement. She wants to take down the Irish Mob that took her boyfriends life. But she is not alone in that task. A mysterious man, only known as Shadow, has also made taking down the Irish mob his mission.

Shadow seems to know too much about Natasha’s deceased boyfriend and about her. How does he have this knowledge? Hell a better question is how the hell can he be shot, jump from amazing heights, break bones, and still live??

Rymer took a suspenseful story and turned it paranormal. Why generally I would not think that this could be done smoothly, I would be wrong in this instance. While this was a short read (something I hope one day Rymer fixes) it is a great read. It is fast paced and suspenseful. Filled with so many emotions: love, lust, anger, heartbreak, joy, etc.

This was the first book I’ve read by Adair Rymer but I am looking forward to reading more. If you are looking for a story that sweeps in you in and keeps the action coming you will not be disappointed in Bad Boy Hero.
