Firstly I have to apologize to the very sweet Muriel Garcia, who has patiently waited for me to be able to find my voice after all the tragedy that has befallen my family (I will explain in a different post). Thank you very much Muriel for giving me the pleasure of reading and reviewing your book.

Haven Lee is having a pretty bad freaking day. First, she gets laid off from her job at the magazine and then she walks in on her boyfriend getting very personal treatment from her best friend. So let’s start with the obvious….who needs enemies with friends like that?? Haven handle it better than I would’ve. There would have been more blood and bodily harm, but hey that’s just me. Thankfully Haven had her male best friend, Spencer to run to. Every girl needs that male best friend in my humble opinion.

Haven sets out to straighten up her life. Starting with getting a new job and moving out of Spencer’s place. Figuring out her feelings and what she wants, or should I say who she wants, in her life.

Watching Haven and Spencer’s banter and flirting is a hot but then you throw in the new neighbor who just happens to be hotter than sin. And who also wants in Haven’s life (or pants – whichever happens first).

Love at First Glance, for me, was a fast sweet (and sweaty – at times) read. I enjoy watching strong women figure out who and what truly matters in their lives. We may have it all but we don’t always realize that.
